VAs Referral Program Process: How to Refer Friends to Work as Virtual Assistants

NOTE: This article explains how our virtual assistants (VAs) can refer friends or family to join Virtual Latinos and work as VAs.

The Virtual Latinos community has been growing rapidly, thanks to our supportive clients and hardworking VAs. Many of our VAs are so happy with their experience that they want to refer others to join our community. To show our appreciation and gratitude for these referrals, we offer a referral bonus.

🏆 Updated Referral Bonus Structure (Effective in May 2025)

We now have two tiers of referral bonuses, depending on your current status with the agency:

• Pre-Hired VAs (not actively working with an Agency client):
  Receive a $50 USD bonus, paid via PayPal.
• Hired VAs (actively working with an Agency client):
  Receive a $100 USD bonus, which will be automatically added to your biweekly invoice once confirmed by our team.

✅ How to Submit a Referral:

1. Fill out this form with your friend’s information:

2. Your friend will immediately receive an email invitation with a link to apply to join our community.
   • 🔔 Important: Your friend must apply through the link in that email for your referral to be tracked properly.
3. If your friend is accepted and hired by an Agency client, you’re halfway to earning your bonus!
4. Track the date your friend gets hired and set a reminder to follow up.
5. After 30 days of your friend working with their client, reply to the confirmation email you received when submitting the referral form. Let us know that the referred person has completed their first 30 days.
6. Our Admin Team will verify the referral and confirm your eligibility via email.

💰 How You’ll Get Paid:

If You ARE a Hired VA:

• Once your referral has been confirmed, the $100 USD bonus will be added by our team to your next biweekly invoice, and you’ll be notified.

If You ARE a Pre-Hired VA:

• You’ll receive $50 USD via PayPal.
• You must have an active PayPal account. Please note that PayPal fees may apply, and we do not offer alternative payment methods for pre-hired VAs.
