Virtual Latinos’ story

Our journey is a testament to what happens when Latin American talent transcends borders and belief turns into real impact.

We’re transforming how Latinos think about work

We believe in the power of remote work to create a brighter future for Latin Americans.

Our journey

Our journey

Before Virtual Latinos:

Like many great stories, ours began unexpectedly. We started as a marketing agency called Bloominari, hiring assistants from various regions. Through ups, downs, and investment losses, we realized that the most talented and dedicated professionals were from LATAM, just like you!

Our journey

The idea was put into action:

Many colleagues were in a similar position, so we wanted to help by sharing our secret: connecting them with dedicated Virtual Assistants from Latin America. We registered the VirtualLatinos.com domain and launched campaigns to attract VAs. To our surprise, 799 VAs applied.

Our journey

Shaping Virtual Latinos:

Initially, our client platform served as a free directory for testing and feedback. Soon after, it transitioned to a subscription model. By August, 12 clients started paid memberships, and we ended the year with 15 satisfied clients successfully working with our VAs.

Our journey

We started growing:

We hosted our first public webinar to establish a valuable community resource with clients. For our VAs, we initiated a “Welcome Meeting for our New VAs” every month to connect and share.

Our journey

The VL rocket takes off:

In the first quarter, we celebrated VL’s 300 VAs party. Our Recruitment Team started growing, and the number of VAs increased from 300 to 500.

Our journey

Building a community:

We hosted our first VA-oriented open webinar to connect with more professionals. Our internal team expanded, and the “A Day in the Life of a Virtual Latino” series was born to highlight the work and personalities of our amazing VAs. We ended the year with a community of 750 VAs.

Our journey

The first five years:

We launched the VL Academy with free courses for our VAs and built our own billing and payment system. We introduced a new and modern community platform for VAs to engage, stay informed, and be inspired. Virtual Latinos was ranked #80 on the 2023 Inc. 5000 list, recognizing our exceptional growth.

Our journey

Starting a new era:

Our community grew to over 24k members. We launched the VL Movement with new initiatives for the development of our VAs: The Community Voices Podcast, Voices of Inspiration Webinar Sessions, and additional academy courses.

Our journey continues to grow and evolve!
